Year 3 visit South Shields beach

Year 3 had a fantastic time during their geography fieldtrip to South Shields. They walked along the coast to Marsden Rock where they discussed coastal erosion and the impact it has on the coastline. The children then created a sketch of Marsden Rock and how it was formed using geographic vocabulary. They then had time to throw stones in the seas and we discussed our mental health and how important the environment is to us.
