Imaginative play in the year 1 bubble
The children in the year 1 bubble enjoyed the sunshine today. Using the outdoor area they transformed it into a pretend McDonalds, a pizza shop, an Ice cream shop and even a whole neighbourhood. There was a house with a bed, cooker and television. The children discovered that leaves inside a hollow plastic brick ‘cooked’ in the heat. Mrs Simonson and Mrs Exley bought lots of pizza, ice cream cornets and chicken nuggets ( some of which were priced in dollars and not pounds!) All the children had lots of fun.
