Art in Year 4

Year 4 have been learning about the artist John Singer Sargent, and this week we have focu

sed on drawing faces from different angles, studying the techniques from Sargent's " El Jaleo" painting.

Lots of laughter went around the classroom as we looked at the strange photographs, then the children used different grade pencils to try and draw in the style of Sargent. Excellent work!
