Carbohydrates and fibres in Year 3
During Year 3's Science lesson, we have been exploring carbohydrates and fibres we got the chance to chew some bread until the starch broke down and into sugar. This is then used for energy for our body. We then explored food labels and how much sugar is in foods. We then found out we should be having no more than 24g of a day for someone between 7-10 years old.
