Y4 find a dragon!

Year 4 had a dragon in the class today! The sound was terrifying! They made a word carpet in response to the sounds and images, and then were led through the 'scene' as the descriptive words and phrases were read aloud. There was much discussion about which words were more effective and why.

These words will be used to write a short descriptive piece, in preparation for some Persuasive Writing next week.
