Year 1 explore materials

In Science, Year 1 have been learning about the properties of materials. We had to problem solve by building a boat for a toy. The material we decided use was plastic because it floats, it is waterproof and it is hard. In small groups, we built boats out of plastic Lego and tested them in the water. They were all a huge success!
