Year 4 visit Vindolanda
Year 4 had a fantastic day visiting the Roman settlement at Vindolanda. They explored the Roman remains, answering questions as they walked around. They then visited the museum, to see the wonderful collection of artefacts. After this they travelled to the Roman Army museum, where they had a lesson in the schoolroom from a very unusual teacher, before watching a film about Roman Soldiers living and working on Hadrian's Wall.
Thank you, to our adult helpers, Andy and Belinda, for helping the day go so smoothly, and thank you Year 4 for your enthusiasm and engagement.
